The Idea
Art Connect needed a bright and refined digital presence that would leverage white space to showcase curated art collections. The goal was to create a website that highlights the artwork while delivering an intuitive user experience that reflects the advisory’s high standards and attention to detail.
The Concept
The concept was to create a digital space that feels as open and inviting as an art gallery. This meant adopting a minimalist approach without sacrificing functionality. The artwork remains the focal point, with design elements playing a supporting role. The interface is intentionally restrained to ensure it never competes with the work itself, allowing visitors to focus on the pieces while moving naturally through the site.
The Design
The design uses generous white space to mimic the walls of a gallery, allowing the artwork to stand out without competition from surrounding design elements.
The homepage welcomes visitors with a clean, uncluttered layout, featuring simple navigation and crisp, modern typography. High-quality imagery immediately draws attention to the artwork, while the restrained visual approach ensures the pieces remain the focal point.
Services are presented using expandable text sections, allowing visitors to explore additional information without overwhelming the page. This keeps the interface clean while giving users control over how much content they engage with.
The portfolio section uses a grid layout that encourages browsing and allows the artwork to be viewed as a curated collection.
A dedicated about page introduces the story and expertise behind Art Connect, combining a personal perspective with a professional tone. The layout guides visitors through the narrative before inviting them to continue the conversation on Instagram.
In a subtle nod to the name of the business, the navigation label for the contact page is titled “Connect,” reinforcing the brand identity of Art Connect and emphasizing the role of the platform in bringing artists and audiences together.
